I cannot seem to get much info on the Perific Mouse. I can see the ergonomic benefits but how well does it work when working with photos...how accurate is it?

Sam,
Can you give a long-term report on your use of the Perific mouse? Have you had any of the problems reported by Astrid?

Just kidding. They are actually very good products. I simply cannot use any other kind of pointing device anymore.

HI, I've been using the Perific Wireless Mouse for half a year now, and although I enjoy the freedom the trackball function gives me (no more sitting in the same static position the whole day long!), I am not really satisfied with this products: First the batteries supplied with the Perific Mouse did not charge at all, so we had to buy new ones. The battery cover has refused to stay in place after the third time I have opened it, so now I have fixed it with a piece of tape. But worst of all, the radio communication between mouse and receiver breaks down about every 15 minutes, and I have to press the synchronisation button on the receiver and the very tiny and deep-set button on the bottom of the mouse several times to make the cursor move again. Every second day or so the mouse simply refuses to re-connect with the radio receiver, and I have to either restart my work station or plug in my old Logitec mouse (whose radio connection has never ever broken down so far) in order to go on with my work.
Sam, do you have similar problems?

Sam, how do you like the mouse from an ergonomic perspective...does it hurt your hand like regular mice, or did you notice an improvement?

I purchased my Perific from www.buyperific.com. The mouse came in a neat package and I have not been disappointed. It really is several mice rolled into 1. I love the fact that I can use it with two hands in front of my body and close to it. I definitely recommend the mouse.
