The biggest disadvantage of the Q-1 is it has no mouse pad or joystick, it's touch screen only. The R2H has a joystick and left/right select buttons, plus built in GPS no other umpc has that.

the fcc just came out with the manual, and thank God it comes with an optional foldable keyboard!! i was afraid of using a touch screen keyboard that took up half the screen. they are actually offering a lot of optional external features... mice, keyboards, more usb ports, a flash drive, even a floppy disk drive. what REALLY confuses me is why they dont specifically offer an external cd/dvd drive!! even a recovery cd comes with the package... how do they expect us to use it??

Very nice, although without the inclusion of a DVD/CD combo reader/writer, my laptop has nothing to fear!

Smart though, I read in STUFF magazine it also has a Digital TV Tuner:)

I compared the Asus to the Samsung this week at CeBit.
Samsung: Pro: Stereo speakers and stereo microphone / light / available in May / standard VGA port
Contra: plastic case leaves fingerprints
Asus: Pro: Nicer design / metal casing / integrated fingerprint reader and GPS in luxery model
Contra: Heavy / available end of June
