Bluetreck waterproof Bluetooth headset
Bluetreck's waterproof Bluetooth headset made its debut at CeBIT 2006. The X2 provides up to 14 hours' of talk time and 21 hours' of standby time. It holds the honor of being the word's first waterproof Bluetooth headset, and now we will need to purchase a waterproof cellphone in order to make full use of it. Where do we get one of those?

On waterproof cell phones: I just recieved my Casio G'Zone Type-S, waterproof cell phone. I am looking for the Bluetooth to go with it, but you might give these phones a look.

Casio also makes a G'Zone Type-V; it supports music files, but the Type-S does not.

I'm looking for something to listen to MP3 music while I swim. I was hoping to use my cell phone. Bluetooth range: 10m/33 feet. Max distance when swimming in pool: 100 feet. :-( Put a phone in a box, yes, brilliant, but how to operate the phone if needed? And how to attach the phone to my body? Oops, dropped it, slides to deep end of pool, 11 feet. :D Good luck diving. Put in a plastic bag, hmm, ok, but can't read it under water, oops, it leaks. Hmm, can trap air inside so the phone will float. :D But then can't push any buttons without breaking the seal. Maybe I put the phone in a box in a bag in a mini-dingy tied to my big toe. Ahh yes, uber hi tech. ;)

I put my cell phone inside of 2 plastic bags to keep it from getting wet. That way I have it in case of an emergency. This is perfect just leave them in the plastic bag. You can still see the caller id and then answer the phone with this

SWEET.

Why don't you just put your phone in a waterproof case, available from any good chandlery?

The phone can simply be stowed inside your briefcase, backpack etc. and the calls can be taken from the headset. What they really need is a OLED display to display the incoming number.
