Earthcomber for Windows Mobile handhelds
Earthcomber’s GPS-enabled maps comes with ‘Look Lists’ and ‘Community’ features that are 100% free - a refreshing change in today’s capitalistic world. You can even set up and automate your search list to constantly look for points-of-interest that will pique your curiosity as you move around the U.S. Best used with a GPS receiver, the Earthcomber is one cool app for any Windows Mobile-based handhelds. The idea of Earthcomber is good and the software is pretty neat, but the map data is horrible. It is one thing when a company tries to skimp on the map quality by using someone other than Navteq; it is another thing when a product like Earthcomber provides free maps from the government that are off by many miles and that contain very little information.
