The idea of Earthcomber is good and the software is pretty neat, but the map data is horrible. It is one thing when a company tries to skimp on the map quality by using someone other than Navteq; it is another thing when a product like Earthcomber provides free maps from the government that are off by many miles and that contain very little information.
