So, let me get this straight, Lenovo, an otherwise unknown brand in the west, buys arguably the grand poobah of premium laptop brands, and then heads straight downmarket with it, strips the computers of all of their unique features and halfasses it on the designs? this is THE WORST IDEA EVER.
I want my old IBM thinkpads back, oozing high end everything, rock solid performance, and business class quality.
This is like Hyundai buying the Mercedes nameplate and slapping the three pointed star on a Sonata.
