Origamis require work on battery life
Current generation Origami handhelds feature a huge 7” touchscreen display with x86 processors inside that runs a variant of Windows XP. Battery life is dismal at 3 hours, but Intel is working on the second generation of power efficient chips, and hopes to bump up the battery life by fourfold. Current prices are hovering around $1000. Intel and Microsoft are targeting a $500 price range within the next couple of years to increase the Origami’s user base.
