GG PlayStation. After debuting in December 1994 and shifting over a phenomenal 100 million units in its lifetime, Sony has decided to pull the plug on it. This move is seen as a measure to allocate more resources for the PS3’s impending release. The PlayStation has been a cultural video game icon for more than a decade, and at one time it was said that 1 in every 3 homes in America houses a PlayStation. We raise a glass to this dearly departed console and will never forget the good times we had together.
