Glass Radiators spruces up the house
Check out this unique radiator from Prefit. Strange how a little ingenuity can transform an ordinary looking household object into one of beauty and elegance. This radiator is made from glass and offers more than dinner table conversation fodder. It would be interesting if the concept could be taken further to develop a window that works as a radiator as well.

surely a window acting as a radiator would also heat the great outdoors...

This is a Belgian development, called IQ Glass. We had our previous house (1996) heated with IQ glass windows that acted as radiators. What a comfort. If it fits your home, you should consider it. Even the coldest day seems to bring some warmth inside. Strange but very relaxing and comfortable feeling.
