South Korea to be run by robots by 2015
Published on 04/ 4/2006

South Korea is planning to place a robot in each household by 2015. The Ministry of Information and Communication in South Korea has gathered over 30 companies and a 1,000 scientists from universities and research institutes in order to bring this dream to fruition. These robots will perform tasks like teaching English, entertaining the owners, and cleaning up the house. On the outside, robots will uphold public safety and help customers at public places such as posts offices. Will this seemingly far-fetched dream be realized in less than a decade? Only time can tell.
