Axis 212 PTZ Network Camera

The AXIS 212 Network Camera incorporates a digital Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) device that provides instant functionality and automatic patrolling that is suitable for indoor security and surveillance. Without any moving parts inside, the reliability of this camera is increased tremendously. You can view the entire FOV on a single monitor, and specific areas of interest are just a mouse click away. The AXIS 212 PTZ is available via Axis' distribution channels in July and will retail around £342 excluding VAT. More features after the jump.
• Can monitor areas up to 150 square metres, such as shops and reception areas. And the camera also incorporates a high quality, 3 megapixel sensor and wide-angle lens that allows users to zoom in on objects within this 150 square metre area.
• Simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 compression for optimised image quality and bandwidth efficiency.
• Two-way audio, including a built-in microphone, and Power over Ethernet to run data and power over a single cable and reduce cabling installation costs.
• Pre- and post-alarm image buffering, video motion detection, as well as scheduled and triggered event functionality with alarm notification.
• The network camera comes with a comprehensive set of security features such as multi-level password protection, IP address filtering and HTTPS encryption.
