i-mate Jas Jam is HTC Hermes in disguise
The i-mate Jas Jam is actually a rebranded HTC Hermes Pocket PC phone that makes it similar to the MDA Vario II offered by T-Mobile. It boasts some rather impressive specs and features - how does a 300MHz processor running on the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform with a 2.1-megapixel camera, 128MB RAM and 128MB ROM sound to you? It offers unrivalled connectivity options in addition to standard GSM and GPRS - it utilizes UMTS, HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, and 802.11b/g WiFi to keep you connected constantly, no matter where you are.

Be aware that Imate has horrible service. I bought an Imate Jam (1st day it came out) they still have yet to fix the blue tooth issues with this device. If something doesn't work, don't expect a fix from them. Imate company is not dependable.
