iLuv i1055 portable media player

iLuv i1055 portable media player
The iLuv i1055 is able to display video from the iPod or any other DVD player via its 7" widescreen LCD display. This tablet-style portable media player comes with a special dock for 5G iPods that is located at the back. Not only can it play video, the iLuv i1055 also supports audio CDs and the MP3 format as well. Choose from a matching black or white color. This $250 model comes with a remote, carrying case, and a pair of headphones. It is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. Overall a nifty device that provides adequate viewing real estate instead of squinting over those high-tension shows you watch regularly on the iPod. ( Add a comment)

John, you should learn something about movie encoding.

Not for a newb, but it works well. The screen isn't high res, but it wouldn't be for the 160 i paid for it. (with the accessories) When movies are properly encoded for it, they play like a charm.

Do not buy this product for the iPod integration. The screen is terrible when view, using the iPod as the video source. The image is so bad that it is unwatchable. I give it an F- here for this function. The DVD player is OK at best. It doesn't play DivX which pretty much all of newer portable in this price range support. Also, the unit itself is extremely thick. It doesn't look like the picture on their site.
