Panasonic SDR-S150 camcorder
Panasonic's new camcorder is extremely portable and will fit into any pocket comfortably. The SDR-S150 comes with a trio of CCD sensors that are able to record high-quality video in MPEG-4 format directly onto an SD card. It shares the same specifications as the S100, but it is compatible with 4GB high-capacity SD cards that can hold the equivalent of 3 hours and 20 minutes' worth of video footage. The startup time of the S150 is fast at 1.5 seconds and it comes equipped with the Optical Image Stabilizer for non-blurry shots under difficult conditions. Shots are taken via the new Dicomar lens that has 12 elements in 8 groups.

I'm disappointed with Auto mode of both - photo and video. All light areas are burned and pic's are too contrast. Do you know about any firmware ubdate which may help?

I believe this is THE ONLY video-quality flash-recording camcorder manufactured today. It can record in MPEG-2 format I believe, which seems to yield better results than all other MPEG-4 recorders.
Compared to the powershot 630, I'd like to point out that this is a very nice CAMCORDER, and it can actually record more than 3 minutes of video at a time compared to the powershot 630 which is spec'd as limited to 3-minute clips.

I believe almost everyone with a USB-2.0 capable computer would be better off buying these than any other camcorder, due to the ease of downloading the MPEG-2 to the computer and burning directly to DVD without transcoding. More shock-resistant than a mini-DVD recording camcorder. Fewer mechanical parts to wear out. And you have no HDD with precious firmware in it that will die one day and leave you a dead camcorder.

This camera s***ks. It will not fit in ANY pocket....only a jacket pocket. Its field of view is quite limited. It video quality in regular light doesn't hold a candle to my canon powershot elf CAMERA!, the night-vision only works with a tripod or the steadiest of hands--any movement and its blur city. And last but not least, the low-light quality really is horrible. I dare anyone to compare the powershot 630 and tell me for virtually any spec how this 150 is better.
