S705 SoundPilot from Motorola
The S705 SoundPilot device from Motorola is interesting because it connects to your Bluetooth-enabled cellphone while streaming music from an alternative music source simultaneously. You can now listen to your favorite audio tracks without the stress of missing an incoming call. The S705 features automatic incoming call alert that allows you to switch between the phone and music through the use of its integrated controls. This Class 1 Bluetooth-enabled device has a wireless range of up to 330 feet. In case you become bored of your current digital audio library, there's always the built-in FM tuner to keep you company.

I hate it. I've been using the s705 for about 3 months. The included headphones are throw aways. I use a pair of Shure e2c's and a pair of Skullcandy canal type headphones. The clip broke already. Nobody can ever hear me when I talk through the S705's. I either get my wife telling me she can't hear me every 5th word, or my boss telling me to roll up my car windows when I'm not even outside of the building. Let alone in a car.

The sound is good thanks to my after market headphones, so they are good for listening to music. The battery lasts me for the 14 hour day, I have music going on it for up to 5 hours.

The buttons are constantly getting pressed when it's in my shirt pocket, which makes my phone go into voice calling mode. This drives me nuts since I then have to take my phone out of my pocket, cancel voice calling & restart the music player. Unfortunately there has really no alternative until now, which is an a2dp set from Tritton Technologies. I'm not getting my hopes up though since Tritton is not

I would start my review with a single word: complete!
It’s the first hours that I have the Motorola S705 in my hands and the first impression is positive.
Balanced sound with bass line in the picture, clear highs and headphones that made me put aside my Shure E2c headphones!
Comes with 5V-850mA USB charger, that means that you will have to carry only one charger (if you use a pda phone) a pouch, lanyard, spare ear buds, manual in several languages and headphones. Radio is a salvation when you really have to save phone power while on road.
Pairing was so easy that was the last thing that bothered me and 7 hours of talk time or 8 for music streaming are fair, since you can charge and listen. Right now I'm streaming music from my P.C. to my home stereo, while charging and there is no humm!!! The sound comes out crisp and clear.
The only cont. is the price... 99.00 euro are quite ouch! for my pocket... But if you can't decide between Sony Eriksson HBH DS970 and Motorola S705, chose S705. Same money, plus you get F.M. radio and the freedom to choose your own headphones, or hook it up on your home stereo.
