Toshiba introduces 200GB notebook HDD

Published on 06/ 5/2006

It is inevitable that hard drisk drives grow larger in size as memory prices continue to plunge and advances in the field of miniaturization occur. Not too long ago, notebook hard disks maxed out at 100GB but Toshiba has thrown all convention out of the window by doubling that size with its MK2035GSS 200GB SATA II (4200rpm) 2.5" hard disk drive that is a mere 9.5mm thick. What are we going to fill up all that space with in due time? Will memory capacity ever max out for the casual computer user? After all, how many of you ordinary folks have need for more than one GMail account?
