Ultrasound device provide faster healing

Published on 06/28/2006

The military is currently developing a technology that will utilize ultrasound to heal flesh wounds to take the place of conventional methods. Medics on the field equipped with a portable ultrasound healer device can use it to cauterize damaged blood vessels in the theater of war. This method is found to be effective in stopping both internal and external bleeding, a process that could help save lives and limbs in the process. Of course this won't grant the person a sudden increase in healing factor like Wolverine's, but it should be much faster than regular means. A prototype is scheduled to be released within the next one and a half years.
