Loc8tor device helps keep track of items
Anyone who has trouble remembering where they placed their everyday items such as remote controls and car keys ought to make the Loc8tor a priority purchase. All you need to do is tag the object in question with one of Loc8tor's wireless tags. If you can't find it, just pick up the Loc8tor device and look for it via the LCD display. You can set up an invisible safety zone around the Loc8tor in Alert mode that triggers audio-visual and vibration alarms whenever a tagged item is out of the set boundary. The Loc8tor retails for £99.99. More features after the jump. • Locate mode finds tagged items up to an incredible 183 metres / 600 feet away (clear line of sight)
• Audio and visual directional technology guides you to within 2.5cm / 1” of lost items
• Alert mode can warn if tagged items go outside a user set safety zone that you can set. Range can be independently set for each tag
• Miniaturised Tags can be quickly and easily attached to almost anything with the Key ring loop or adhesive strips
• Homing Tags gives off audio beep and flashing LED to help locate
• Panic Tag enables a child or dependant to set off a distress alarm
• Up to 24 Tags / items can be registered per Handheld
• Easy to use – set up in seconds
• Available in English - Spanish, French and German versions launching October 2006

Don't misplace it or let's say it happens did you bet not loose your keys. Option C: Buy another Loc8tor as if you want to spend money. Option D: Stop letting your mind race and gain more focus dip.

Line of sight is about 6 miles at say a 6' person can only see that distance before the earths curvature hides things beyond, 600 meters is about normal, things like wire mesh in walls will cut that down a lot but out in a field like I use mine it works fine in tall grass or corn to find a downed R/C airplane. You can figure line of sight = height square root. You're on a 100' pole you can see about 10 miles. Another person on a 100' pole you can see them at 20 miles.
No question is studid only the one's not asked.

no dumbass, it only say clear line of sight for the measurement. just like your mobile phone, they say 'works up to 200 miles (line of sight)' - add some walls and it drops the useable distance. Something tells me this won't matter to you anyway, you dont read what's there.

I like the alarm whenever a tagged item is out of the set boundary. My daughter always takes the TV remote out of the room, I hate looking for the remote for 5 minutes only to find it later in the kitchen or the bathroom.

fo shizzle
If you need something like this to keep track of stuff, do you need a second one to keep track of the first one? and a third to track the second?
