300 is a great movie full of visual effects and graphics which made it different and much better.
Acting was great, director did a wonderful job and chose great actors, full of action, and it is based on a true story.

I can't learn touch typing, not even the first exercise. It simply doesn't work.

I can type 60 wpm on QWERTY. And, no, never had typing classes and anything...purely hunt and peck for thousands of years. I'm just so used to QWERTY that changing does not make sense. Just ask any programmer, computer pro or even generic script kiddies!

Small. Simple. Bad.
QWERTY Killer doesn't sound like a good name. Most of us in today's society are used to the QWERTY system anyway. People who are used to the alternate layout is going to be more complex..
I rather stick to the one I'm using..

This would only be useful for beginner hunt-n-peck typers.
If there was some statistical data that the key placement was based on, then that could help speed input.
But ABCDE ? Was this designed by a first grader, or someone who never learned how to type with more than two fingers, and hasn't thought about letter statistics. Or perhaps it was designed by some with a different alphabet?
"QWERTY Killer"???. Try "A keyboard designed by non-typists".

Many standardized operations on a PC are based on the assumption of QWERTY layout. Take for example CTRL X,C,V (the cut, copy and paste operations). This allows convenient left hand operation while using the right hand for the mouse. This and other operations would prove more difficult with this alternate layout. However, I do quite like the look of it, and since I'm not typicially satisfied with the status quo, it's just good to see alternatives.

John, I agree this keyboard will be much easier for first time keyboard users. But with any layout, once you get to the point of not having to hunt and peck an efficient keyboard, you would want to have a layout that has common letters towards the center and common sequences going between opposite hands.
Produce a similar looking keyboard with a qwerty layout and a slightly bigger space bar (for both of my thumbs) and I may be interested.
Until a scientifically proven keyboard standard is adopted world wide qwerty will continue. I don't want to have to adjust my typing style for each different computer that I use.

Designer's response to DJT - For faster typing, finger sequences are more important than individual letter placement. Mechanical typewriter keys needed significant force, so individually assigning frequent letters to strong fingers made sense. But physical strength is not relevant on an electronic keyboard, so the emphasis changes for computers. The fastest typing sequences use opposite hands without moving from the home keys. The slowest sequences are successive letters on the same finger. As one example from many, consider E and R, the pair of letters that occurs together (in any order) more often than any other pair. Qwerty has them on adjacent fingers (the second-slowest finger sequence) with both letters outside the home row to slow things down even more. The New Standard keyboard has them on opposite hands and both in the home row, which, along with many other similar instances, will indeed mean faster typing.
The other question was, so what if the letters are in order? So then it becomes possible for non-typists to access public computers, for novices to hunt-and-peck at a respectable rate, and most of all, it becomes possible to touch-type on seeing the keyboard for the first time; slowly at first, but without ever developing the bad habit of looking at the keyboard. And as typing teachers know, looking at the keyboard is the greatest barrier to getting beyond two-fingers and becoming a real touch-typist. Of course, this approach is greatly assisted by the ergonomic key layout and tactile landmarks that remove all qwerty's built-in physical hurdles; but good ergonomics only makes it easy. Without alphabetical order, "instant touch typing" would not even be possible.

I don't see how this is necessarily means faster typing. If you look on the left side A,E, and I are ALL on the very left meaning you have to use your little finger to type those letters. If you were designing a keyboard for fast typing, you would think that you would have the most frequently used letters in an area of the fore fingers and middle fingers. So what if all the letters are in order? so put letters like AEIORSTLN in the middle of the keyboard, or just let qwerty alone ;)
