Wireless technology is the way to go, with cables dying a slow but sure death. UStec's patent for their Wallport technology is a huge boost for the wireless arena. This new technology will integrate wireless relays in each room around the building, offering stronger signals without any messy wires in sight. Wallport technology might be redundant in home setups, but will come in handy under the large scale where commercial buildings and campuses are concerned. You can also limit the signal strength at specific areas to prevent wardrivers from hijacking your connection.
