Bose Acoustic Wave Music System II
Bose will introduce its upgraded Acoustic Wave Music System II this September, offering an expensive way to listen to your CDs, AM/FM radio, and digital audio players. Even though it is rather small in stature, you would be surprised to hear the room fill up with booming sounds, maintaining crystal clear clarity even at high volumes. Such a simple audio product will set you back by $1,079 - so why not fork out an extra $179 for a stand that plugs in a remote control as well. After all, the price for the add on will look like loose change.

Serously, I know Bose bashing is very vouge these days but what is the alternative to this unit? What other portable stereo can deliver what this unit can do?

Actually the Acoustic Wave Music System is probably the best product ever put out by Bose. I realize that's not saying much, as most of their other products suck. But for those who need something small and simple that sounds great, this is a nice little unit.

Goodsound - old Bose had some juice in it. Not anymore, unfortunately. Nowdays, only size matters for them :)

On one of the audio forums someone compared the old acoustic wave system to a good $5000.00 system and liked Bose better!

Comon. Go to any B&M and compare even to the other mediocre equipment and you will realize how miserable "Blose" sounds..

You guys are the first blog ( with the source as well ) that 'praise' Bose? Have you ever done any research about quality of Bose?
