Aug 16, 06 11:52 PM PDT

Horseman 3D Stereo Camera
Horseman joined forces with Rolleiflex to develop the Horseman 3D Stereo Camera that is capable of taking stereo pictures of high-speed moving objects. The Horseman 3D Stereo Camera suits those who work with nature and sports, as it at home when capturing flying birds, jumping animals, and even a spray of water. The 24mm x 65mm electronically controlled focal plane shutter ensures perfect synchronization of right and left images up to a shutter speed of 1/1000 second. This high level precision camera weighs just 900 grams and holds the distinction of being the first 3D camera built from bottom up. Pricing and availability details are unknown currently. Hardly!

#1 This is an adapted version of the Hasselblad XPan II. So this camera was **NOT** built from from the bottom up!

#2 There have been many examples of 3D (stereo) cameras built from the bottom up. Only someone totally ignorant of the story of the Stereo Realist would make such a rediculous statement!

This is a discontinued camera (Hasselblad XPan II) adapted for a new format. Cool concept, but don't be fooled that it's a new camera.
