Miuro rolls into market

Here's an iPod dock that looks extremely different from the standard issue types which roll out on a daily basis. The Miuro takes the form factor of a ball and will be able to move around on its "wheels", keeping your iPod safely docked in the middle. There is no mention of the Miuro's compatibility with different iPods in the market, but hard drive-based iPods ought to be able to take all the rolling around without suffering from any data damage. The Miuro boasts a pair of Kenwood speakers and is also capable of playing music stored on a nearby computer via a wireless connection. It will be released worldwide in the second half of next year for approximately $930. There's a remote control thrown into the package that ensures the Miuro won't follow your Sony Aibo out for a walk without your express permission.
