The Wherifone GPS Locator Phone from Wherify Wireless will be available in Toys "R" Us stores come September 1, and are now currently available for pre-orders at $99.95 a pop. These new communication devices are equipped with a GSM/GPS locator that enables parents to find out where their children are. Touted to be the first device of its kind in the world, the Wherifone comes in a wide variety of fun colors and boasts 5 pre-programmable buttons that enable the kids to call their family and friends. It is not surprising to find such a device on sale at Toys "R" Us, the meeting point where parents, teens, and children can meet eye-to-eye.
