X-Road Z3300 portable GPS navigation system

Published on 08/ 9/2006

Korean company CarPoint manufactures portable GPS navigation systems that are used in various geographical locations around the world, and hence have similar models marketed under different names depending on the region. The X-Road Z3300 is actually the Asian version of the Tibo Z3000 that we looked at two days ago, save for the inclusion of some upgrades such as better graphics, a brighter screen due to its brightness rating of 400cd/m2 as compared against the Z3000's 350cd/m2, and integrated 2W speakers. Similar features include the vaunted SiRFStar III GPS chipset and fold-out antenna. There is no word on availability and pricing details at the moment.
