Kensington Wireless Presentation Remote
Most people who give presentations often hover around their notebook or PC as they are required to stay within touching range of the keyboard to advance those presentation slides. More often than not, moving around a room, coupled with the right gestures and tone of voice can make an even greater impact on your audience. Kensington decided to fulfil this need with the Wireless Presentation Remote that enables you to walk around the room while putting forward your ideas in the most passionate manner possible without being restricted by wires. This device has a range of up to 20 meters - all you need to do is to plug the USB receiver into any available USB port on the notebook and you're good to go. The Wireless Presentation Remote also comes with an integrated laser-pointer which comes in handy when indicating key areas on the screen. This PC and Mac compatible device can be purchased for £35.

I teach a large arts apprec. course. I always used slides w/Kodak carousel 5600 projector.Noe my images are on a CD disc, and appear on the computer screen. I have to use the mouse to click on EACH slide in order to move them. Will this remote be able to ADVANCE the images from a distance? These are not slides, but scanned slides for computer use. Any help from anyone? I need to do something before Kanuary. metzd@uc.edu

We use these at the university I work for. I really like this model because it is simple. Forward, back, laser pointer and blank screen. What else do you really need?

I have tried many other presentation remotes and wireless mice and they usually have too many buttons for most instructors to use during a presentation.

I also like the smooth rounded shape that fits easily in your hand and the USB receiver that stores inside the remote when it is not in use.
