Since most people have moved on to optical mice, what is the point of picking up a mouse pad, unless you're a hard core gamer who makes a living from professional gaming tournaments? Small timers like me will prefer to save the additional costs involved in purchasing a high-end mousepad and reinvest that sort of money into a better mouse of even more memory if possible.
