Monet LCD Photo Frame
The next time you walk by a photo frame that turns on automatically, don't jump out of your skin and call the Ghostbusters. It is most probably the Monet LCD Photo Frame that boasts a built-in motion sensor that turns the screen on automatically when it detects movement within its range. The 8" screen is capable of displaying photos in 640 x 480 or 800 x 600, although anyone opting for the former would be disappointed by the picture quality. Two models support MPEG movie playback and come with a credit card-sized remote control. The 640 x 480 model will retail for $175 while the one with MPEG playback is $25 more expensive, and the 800 x 600 MPEG-capable model is going for $250. More features are available after the jump. • Ease to use (Plug and Play), no configuration required
• High quality large 8" TFT LCD screen
• Automatic slide show with MP3 background music or Play MPEG movies
• Motion Sensor for Auto power on/off
• Accepts Compact Flash memory cards, displays pictures directly off of memory cards
• Includes a 12-in-1 media card reader for transferring digital pictures from PC, or Macintosh or other memory types (Memory Stick, SD card, SM card and more)
• Displays photos from your digital camera by inserting the Compact Flash card into the Digital Picture Frame
