Norco DS-1220 eSATA storage box

ExtremeTech has done a comprehensive review on the Norco DS-1220 eSATA storage box, and they came away with more than a good impression. The DS-1220 is great for those who want to transfer their entire DVD collection or High Definition content from the HTPC sitting in the living room at an affordable price. You can fit up to a dozen SATA drives and RAID0/1/5/0+1/JBOD into the DS-1220 for the relatively affordable price of $840. It is highly recommended to purchase an aftermarket fan controller or replace the stock 70mm fans if the primary purpose of the DS-1220 is used as a DVD collection backup. ( Add a comment)
