PepperPad tablet PC peek

The CrunchGear crew has received a new toy, and the PepperPad tablet is currently undergoing rigorous testing procedures over at their HQ with a full review to come soon. The PepperPad tablet is another Internet surfing tool which comes equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a full QWERTY keyboard for you to carry on messaging at a WiFi hotspot, a built-in hard drive, touchscreen capability, and a Linux OS which should shave off a good $70 or so from the final price as there is no need to purchase Windows XP Professional. Is this device really necessary? Most people who have laptops will definitely find no use for this, while others will most probably have a casual Web surfing device like their 3G cellphones, PSPs, and DS Lites. Look at where Palm’s LifeDrive is now.
