Since SD cards are currently the dominant storage media of choice in digital cameras around the world, it is no wonder that it boasts the largest capacity as well. Just make sure your digital camera and other SD-compatible devices will support the new SDHC (SD 2.0) standard. The new Pretec 8GB SDHC will retail at the recommended price of $299. Fret not if you are still stuck with SD 1.1 devices - Pretec will soon unveil its very own SD Tuner technology which will allow cross platform compatibility between both standards.
