Sony VPL-VW50 HD projector
Sep 12, 06 11:42 PM PDT
Home HD projectors seem to be getting more and more common these days as the prices of such devices begin to drop with a higher market adoption rate. The Sony VPL-VW50 HD projector boasts an impressive contrast ratio of 15,000 to 1. This is made possible via the iris that opens and closes up accordingly when differently-lighted scenes as shown. This 1080p projector derives its roots from Silicon X-tal Reflective Display rechnology in order to bring home the best picture quality possible. Other features include a couple of HDMI connections and a low noise rating of 22db. Even so, expect to pay a pretty high price for one of these should they ever make it across the Atlantic.
