Toshiba W41T unveiled
Published on 09/20/2006

From the picture gallery, you can tell that the Toshiba W41T will not feature the latest and greatest specifications that cellphones in the Far East are famous for, but instead acts as your iPod replacement with the integrated 4GB hard drive. This makes the W41T essentially a music cellphone, and the dedicated external music control buttons are further evidence of this. Battery life could be a potential pitfall with this clamshell handset as hard drives are notorious for their high level of power consumption compared to flash memory. Those living in the U.S. are better off with their iPods anyway since the W41T will probably remain stuck in the Japanese market like so many other cellphones.
