Apple speakers open up in half

The engineers who designed this pair of speakers for use with the iPod must have been extremely literal people. The lime green USB speakers come in the shape of an apple and can be folded open to reveal a pair of 2W speakers for your listening pleasure. Choose from DC power when you're at home or four AAA batteries whenever you hit the road with the Apple speakers. As with many other generic speakers, they are not meant for exclusive use with the iPod only, and is compatible with a whole host of other devices such as portable DVD players, digital audio players, notebooks, PCs, and the ilk. Controls include an On/Off button and a volume knob. This is no Bose, but for $4.70 a pop, even Eve would've been tempted by one.
