AuraOrb the socially-aware device

The information age could prove to be overwhelming for some, as our pair of eyes has to digest tons of information each day via feeds, e-mail notifications, and instant messages over the PC. The AuraOrb aims to help us out by using social awareness cues such as eye contact which will then determine whether it should display the latest information updates via a 360-degree display. When you touch the orb, it will automatically transfer messages directly to your computer screen. There is no word on whether this passive information notification device will be available or if it is currently in a prototype state, but you can't deny that the AuraOrb has a coolness factor that is off the scale on the high-end.
