Getting your heart rate reading is done by traditionally attaching a chest strap that will then pick up your heart rate along with other electrical signals. The BioShirt from Korea aims to do away with the unsightly chest strap as the entire shirt comes with integrated sensors that will send the information gathered to a wristwatch computer via Bluetooth, including the heart rate, body temperature, and running speed. The wristwatch computer has an average battery life of 3.5 hours and is suitable to most runners save for those who do marathons. You can also use the BioShirt as a normal monitoring system for those who are hospitalized.
