BRAINic unveils unique GPS system
Since most GPS-DMB hybrid devices these days are pretty standard in size and specifications, BRAINic decided to upset the order of things by introducing the Juctoma that comes in two different components which consists of a central unit and its battery, and a 4.3" or 7" touchscreen display. The reason behind both display sizes lies in its portability - a task which requires you to be mobile is more suited for the 4.3" display, while catching up on a TV show is definitely more pleasant on the 7" display. Other features include a fold-out SiRFStar III GPS receiver, an SD card slot, 128MB RAM, and a whooping 2GB of ROM. It runs on the AMD Au1200 processor and the Windows CE 5.0 Pro operating system, while maps are provided by Citus Rousen. Expect to see the Juctoma hit Korean stores this December for a king's ransom. Yes, and we agree that the Juctoma T-DMB device looks very much like a PSP from certain angles, especially the round, silver ring behind.
