iFusion brings 3D to PMPs
Posted on Oct 9, 06 08:57 PM PDT

Ever wondered what viewing your video in 3D would look like? You no longer need to hold out for 3D TVs but pick up the iFusion from Neovision instead. This 3D stereo accessory targets the portable media player market, and is affixed on the PMP very much in the same vein as a screen protector that offers 3D effects on occassion, without the need for software, drivers, or weird looking 3D glasses of any sort. All this sounds pretty cool if it works as planned, although there's no mention on how such technology works. Check out Fabio Cannavaro's hand popping out of nowhere with the iFusion even though it is not in the original image. Does this mean we get to view extra information which is not stored in the original video itself? Look out for the iFusion for the iUbi Blue in Q1 2007, with Zune, Zen Vision:W, and Archos 604 versions to be released shortly thereafter.
