Thankfully, the Linutop is an extremely portable desktop device that runs on the Linux operating system which is powered by an AMD Geode processor, 512MB of ROM, and 256MB of RAM. Those specifications are enough to perform the occasional word processing and surf the Internet. The Linutop is currently a prototype and has not gone into production yet, but should it be available in the market, we will see more and more people from all walks of life hop on the World Wide Web.
