iPods are pretty sensitive stuff, so it makes sense to carry your iPod in a protected enclosure whenever you head off into the big, bad outdoors. The IH19 speaker dock from M-Infotech of Japan keeps your iPod going regardless of the surrounding environment. Your iPod is strapped securely into the dock itself with a belt to minimize shocks to the hard drive, while the IH19 remains watertight when closed to prevent it from drowning during a downpour. Expect the IH19 to perform basic iPod controls such as volume control, previous/next track, play, and pause buttons. The M-Infotech IH19 is currently available in Japan for approximately $90.
