Neoware m100 has no hard drive
So you have ultra slim cellphones, but has anyone seen a thin client notebook before? The Neoware m100 thin client notebook does not come with a hard drive, hence its apparent slimness and protection against any loss of data files or applications. One can automatically see the importance of using the Neoware m100 in environments that require data privacy, such as healthcare organizations. Since the hard drive is excluded, expect the Neoware m100 to come with a longer battery life (or approximately 6 hours) and operate in a near silent environment. Other features include a 15" display, stereo speaekers, USB and WiFi connectivity, a modem, VGA-out, and LAN. The Neoware m100 currently runs on either Windows XPe and Linux, which are priced at $799 and $759 respectively. Shipping begins sometime this month.
