Oct 2, 06 07:36 AM PDT
Pentax unveiled its concept X-Change camera at the recent Photokina event. Should this concept ever comes to fruition, it will be a dream come true for many a photography enthusiast who are looking for the power and versatility of a digital SLR camera crammed into the convenience of a compact camera. Despite being developed in 2002, the X-Change concept camera still has yet to occupy store shelves as there is still much work to be done. The X-Change from Pentax comes in an ultra-slim body along with a built-in pop-up flash and interchangeable lenses. These lenses come with integrated CCD image sensors that offer a wide array of focal lengths.
