PlantSense detects soil health

Black thumbs are the notorious opposite of green fingers, and plants often wither and die with amazing consistency when placed in the former's hands. Perhaps you did not mean it, or you just think that killing a plant is so much fun (which we would then seriously advise you to seek for professional help), the PlantSense sensor is a pretty neat way of keeping tabs on your daisies and sunflowers. These USB-powered stakes are pushed into the soil and connected to a PC, where the sensor will then analyze the soil's condition and transmit data to the PlantSense web site for your perusal. At $49.95 a pop, the PlantSense sensor is not cheap but at least it lets you know whether your plant is getting enough sunlight and water.
