Ok, so your MacBook can connect to the Internet without wires. Mine can do the very same thing too, except my MacBook can sit up to five times further away from the wireless router without any drop in the signal quality. That is what most people would say when they pick up the QuickerTek Connect WiFi amplifier. The manufacturer claims that this $200 device is capable of delivering a faster and stronger wireless signal to your Apple MacBook without any wires by virtue of being attached to or placed beside your MacBook, boosting the internal AirPort card's signal up to 5 times the normal wireless range. It can be bus-powered or run off an AC adapter - it's your call. You've either got to have a pretty big mansion to use such a far ranging product, or you're a cheapskate who wants to sniff around the neighborhood for free WiFi access.
