WiFi Walker looks for wireless hotspots
Instead of turning on your notebook wherever you go just to find a free WiFi hotspot for you to leech from, why not take the simpler route by picking up the WiFi Walker from E-let of Japan? This WiFi-enabled USB key comes with a tiny but functional control screen that enables you to see various free WiFi hotspots that are available in the area after pressing the "Detect" button on the side, where you can then choose the one you want to connect to. There is no word on pricing or availability details at the moment. ( Add a comment, Search on eBay)

I just bought a cheap one via FON. I was surprised it has two functions: a WiFi seeking device and an ordinary adapter. It has a locking mode for fixing it to one network you'd like to explore by walking in its direction. Very handy!
