Glider Mouse looks out of this world

Published on 11/ 1/2006

Is it just me, or do all ergonomic products come in the weirdest shapes? How come there weren't enough dollars being poured into research and development back in the early years of computing to combat the problems that plague most of today's products? The Glider Mouse is the latest product in a long list of ergonomic peripherals that look totally unconventional, looking more like a joystick than anything else. It comes in a central mouse position that offers you an optimal working posture, claiming to eliminate the repeated motion of reaching out for the mouse that's located next to the keyboard. The Glider Mouse is suitable for use with small sized keyboards and notebooks, and suits both right handers and southpaws equally well. Are you willing to plonk down £150 for this? Has anyone tried the Glider Mouse out yet?
