THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH whoever came up with plugging it into the back of the PC to get it to sync. I was getting so mad at the stupid thing for blinking on and off.

I was able to charge mine for like the first month, daily. Now I can get it to charge. I have a laptop and tried front and side ports and no luck. I tried the same on my desktop and no luck.

it worked fine the first time i connected it. but the second time it didn't work at all. it won't charge, because it only connects to the computer for a few seconds.

Just got mine, works great and sounds spectacular so far. First time I plugged it in, I too had a white screen, but all's well after a reset. Easy to start loading and playing music.

I just got mine. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm running Windows 2000 and I can't get it to play any of the music that I bought from Walmart. The music plays fine on my computer. Any suggestions?

I have had mine and I am very well pleased with it. Plus it is very easy to use and understand,

or, if he did not listen to the above comment and still plugged his into the front usb drive, it might not work that way. front- end usb ports are not designed for stuff like charging. you'll fry your computer that way. plug it into the back.

well, Jerry, determining by you're date, the 30-day warranty is gone. The only thing i can think of is that you probably do not have a Windows 98 or higher. That's probably you're problem, or you're MP3 Player is a dud.

i had a problem the very first time i tried to connect it to my computer. But as it's mentioned in the notice, if it doesn't work in the front USB, try on the back ones. Since I did so it's working very well, and i just love it.

i've never had a problem. in fact, windows xp auto detects it and i don't even need the software that came with it to put stuff onto it. i just drag and drop like i would a 3.5" floppy disk

I frequently have problems with mine. I miss my old iRiver 890. This will play the WMA DRM files I wanted to get from Net Library, but after only a couple of months I am having connectivity issues with my computer. It won't synch any more. It has always been hard for my computer to find, no matter what software I use. It ain't ready for prime time.
