KFC logo viewable from space
Posted on Nov 14, 06 10:53 PM PDT

The good Colonel looks extremely suave and young from outer space, making KFC the first company logo that is visible from space, courtesy of Google Earth and MSN Virtual Earth. In order to create a monument to our fowl (or is it foul?) eating culture, KFC took over 3,000 hours to complete. In addition to 11 herbs and spices of their secret recipe, the company also used 65,000 12" x 12" painted tile pieces in order to compose Colonel Sanders' face. I wonder what little green men has to say about this work of art when they see it from their UFOs.
