Petwatch feeds pets automatically

Published on 11/10/2006

With two major console releases coming up soon, hardcore gamers will probably camp out a day or two before the actual release date, leaving their pets at home starving to death. This situation can be remedied with the Petwatch from Korea that enables you to care for your pet over wired/wireless networks in real time. A remote control allows pet owners to check up on the situation back home via Internet. The Petwatch is capable of serving food automatically on a preset arrangement, with the maximum of 5 meals a day. You can even summon your pet to come within view of the camera through a predefined sound after it has been conditioned to do so. Needless to say, deaf pets like pythons won't need this as they'll just hibernate instead. No idea on how much the Petwatch costs.
