Robocoaster shakes and stirs humans
Nov 10, 06 01:23 AM PDT
I've always wondered how those humans in the Transformers cartoon felt whenever they're manning one of those goodie-two-shoes Autobots, being tossed about while the Autobot is busy trying to get away from Decepticon fire. Perhaps an inkling of that feeling can be be recreated by sitting on the Robocoaster which is based on a robotic arm. This robotic arm boasts 6 degrees of freedon as is capable of carrying over half a ton out to a 3.3 meter reach while accelerating the payload up to 2Gs. The idea of being at the mercy of a robotic arm makes my stomach queasy already, so let me call my insurance agent before I get on one.
