Telefonplan Tower colored by numbers
Posted on Nov 1, 06 03:12 AM PDT

The Telefonplan tower in Midsommarkransen, a suburb in Stockholm, which has long been used by Ericsson and has cemented it's status as a neighborhood landmark in the psyche of the local community, is currently undergoing some changes by the hands of local architect Milo Lavén, artist Erik Krikortz and interaction designer Loove Broms. The dynamic trio aims to utilize the 72 meter tall landmark as a central point of energy and dialogue in the neighborhood by introducing the Color-by-Numbers concept. Anyone can call +46 (70) 57 57 807, select the floor(s) that they want to color, and key in the appropriate color by punching in a series of keys. You can then view the uniquely lighted Telefonplan Tower over a live web cam feed.
